We're looking for volunteers to join us at Portable Pixel Playground events.. Volunteering at PPP events gives you the chance to:

Be part of our welcoming, friendly team at PPP events in a range of venues in Lancashire and Cumbria and beyond...

Learn about creative uses of new technologies, and encourage PPP visitors to get hands-on and interactive with digital artwork...

Help with setting up artwork and equipment in a range of locations, for example an art gallery, a shopping centre or a railway station...

Help folly to promote this exciting project to potential visitors.

Schedule:

Setting up - 9.00/9.30am - 11.00am
Event - 11.00am - 4.00pm
Packing up - 4.00pm - 4.45 (This can be flexible if you need to arrive or leave early)

Roles:

Setting up. N.b. Involves lifting.
Supervising young people and art works.
Engaging with the audience and helping answer any questions.
Encouraging adults and children to complete evaluation forms.
Packing up.

Folly will reimburse your travel expenses and lunch.
